Monte Carlo and MGM Las Vegas Wedding

Krystal & Ryan
Krystal and Ryan are from Iowa and contacted us to be their Day of Coordinator.  We didn’t officially meet until they came into town their wedding weekend.  They are definitely the perfect match for each other.  Ryan was very laid back and quiet and Krystal had all sorts of beautiful ideas.  In fact, a majority of their wedding was created by Krystal and her bridesmaids which I will talk more about later.  Their wedding ceremony took place at the Signature towers MGM.  Although it was close to 100 degrees, the space was shaded and turned out to be perfect for their nuptials.  They had about 75 of their closest friends and families all of which traveled to share the special moment with them.  The decor for the ceremony was very simple.  Their guests sat on each side of the rose petal aisle in white garden chairs with the natural palm tree background as the backdrop of their vows.  They each had 3 attendants on each side of them, along with their two little boys as their ring bearers and the Maid of Honor’s daughter as the flower girl.  Krystal’s oldest son and mother walked her down the aisle.  One of my favorite ceremony surprises ever happened.  Krystal stopped when she had to put the ring on Ryan and instead of giving him the ring that he thought was his, she pulled out a ring that he wanted to get but was out of their budget.  It was so sweet and the look on Ryan’s face was priceless.  Following the ceremony, the guests were shuttled over to the Monte Carlo for the cocktail hour while the bridal party and immediate family went to the Las Vegas Sign for formal pictures photographed by Lucas Strawhorn Photography.  The reception was in the ballroom at Monte Carlo and guests were able to sit wherever they wanted.  Guests were greeted by the Videographer Tim to say something to the couple.  The room was decorated in white linens with purple accents which were rented from Las Vegas Rentals.  The DIY items I spoke earlier about that Krystal made were a beautiful glittery card box and centerpieces which were a cluster of 3 vases with bling on the top, filled with diamonds, water, and a light.  They were perfect for the simple, yet elegant bling look she wanted.  In place of a guestbook, they had a frame for everyone to sign that will be hung on their wall with a photo of them from the wedding.  The cake was made by Monte Carlo.  It was white with just a little bling on each layer and a double bling heart cake topper.  After they were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Marshall for the first time, they went into their first dance Beyonce “You are my Rock”.  Their MC and DJ was DJ Tim.  Also, as a great surprise, Ryan’s cousin also sang the Beyonce song for them a-cappella after each of the mother’s toasts.  Following the song, the groomsmen and one of the maid of honors, said their toasts then we went into dancing followed by cake cutting.  The last thing was the garter and bouquet  toss.  The dance floor then reopened to all and they had the best mix of R & B, hip hop, and pop to keep everyone on the dance floor.  This was a gorgeous wedding for a beautiful and sweet couple.  We were so honored they chose us to be their day of coordinator.
