Natalie is one of my best friends and not only do I have the pleasure of assisting in planning her wedding but I also am one of her bridesmaids. Natalie lives in Las Vegas but is from Michigan as well so her Las Vegas bridesmaids including myself, through her a Las Vegas Bachelorette/bridal shower weekend. Seeing that we are all in our 30s, we wanted a fun weekend but not the crazy packed clubs that Vegas has to offer. After lots of planning, we came up with the following itinerary see in this photo (also her invites and edited so address doesn’t show):
For Saturday our day began with a Cabana at Daydream. This is the adult pool located at the M Resort. It’s a perfect spot that us locals typically go to all summer long. There aren’t kids there and it is not overly crowded like the strip club pools tend to be. We decorated the cabana in balloons and banners. (Side note in case you are planning a pool: do not bring picture frames or anything with glass because they will take it). I bought Natalie Bride sunglasses and decided to get sunglasses favors for all our attendees. We ordered a few bottles of vodka (only $95 each)and a few bottles of champagne ($40 each) for the perfect mix for any bachelorette. Pricing at the M is very reasonable and our cabana only was a $400 minimum which was easy to hit for a group of 16 girls. The manager even surprised Natalie with a complimentary bottle of champagne. We had perfect weather that day and it turned out to be such a fun day.
After the pool and getting ready, we went back to the M Resort for dinner. We chose to go to one of Natalie’s favorite restaurants, Jayde Fuzion. Here they specialize in sushi and Asian dishes with three menu options: All-You-Can-Eat Sushi and Nigiri for $24.95, All-You-Can-Eat Jayde Specialties (no sushi) for $24.95, or All-You-Can-Eat Sushi, Nigiri and Jayde Specialties for $32.95. They are Gluten sensitive friendly as well. It is a very delicious restaurant with a great ambiance. We had the private dining room for the 16 of us.
Following dinner we went to Ravello lounge at the M. I would describe this as an ultra lounge because it’s in between a chill lounge and a nightclub. They had live music and we had bottle service there as well. Which they do not require to have a table but it is again so reasonably priced why not get a bottle. Everyone had so much fun dancing the night away.
The next day we had a bridal shower for Natalie at Ashley’s house (one of her bridesmaids). The food was all made by Her bridesmaid Laura as Ashley and I decorated the house. Looking through these photos you will notice the “Puffs”, I would definitely do these ahead of time or make sure you have plenty of people to make them. They look cute but they are a pain to decorate with. We set up a mimosa bar with different juices and fruit. This way guests could enjoy drinks of their liking. As favors, we had mini bottles of sparkling wine for each guest to take with them. Our theme was blush and gold and we displayed this throughout the day in decor, favors, and invites. We played 2 games, Who knows the bride best and we asked each girl to decorate a bottle of champagne that describes their friendship to Natalie and she would pick the best bottle. We had about 14 girls attend the shower and Marc (her fiancé) came to open presents with her. His favorite being the lingerie of course. We had a guest book alternative that is pictured below of the letter C for her soon to be new initial. After gifts anyone who wanted to stay brought swim suits to use the pool at Ashley’s. It was the perfect way to ending the perfect weekend.
Planning any event can be so much fun but sometimes with larger groups it may be hard to all agree on something. This is what I am here for and I love planning the perfect Bachelorette and Bridal Showers.
